MuLondon Moisturiser: Multitasker in skincare

I remember reading about MuLondon products on Jana's blog. I immediately googled the brand because I was being curious about it. If I'm honest I've never been conscious about ingredients and what I put on my skin. I tried to be, but I also like pretty packaging and I'm not 100% immune to marketing of all the big and shiny skincare corporations (with their "magic" ingredients and unclear politics towards animal testing etc.) that society seems to approve.
This is why MuLondon spoke to me. Their moisturisers have a very short list of ingredients and you don't have to be an expert or have a PhD in chemistry to understand the listed ingredients. Sometimes it really feels good to know what exactly you're putting on your skin. It's also nice to know exactly where and how a product is made. MuLondon range is certified organic, cruelty-free and vegan (& also a member of 1% for the Planet and is a Certified B Corporation).

L.O.V Spring 2017 Update (New products)

L.O.V recently launched some new products and I got three of them. In general I've had positive experience with this brand. I love their modern yet minimalistic packaging and good quality at relatively low price. I was particulary impressed by L.O.V LipAffair Lipsticks in shade 521 Verena's Rose and 500 Sina's Nude. Pigmentation is great, lipsticks are formulated scent free and they're very comfortable to wear. Price is around 10€ each.

If you'd like to know what I think about some of their newly launched products, keep on reading.

Estee Lauder Eye Repair + Concealer Set (Great Value Set)

There's been a lot of fuss about Estee Lauder's Double Wear Concealer. I've read tons of good reviews about it and naturally wanted to see if it's really that good. Since concealer is something I'm not really willing to spend loads of money on, I was quite intrigued by Estee Lauder Eye Repair + Concealer Set. If you ask me this is a great Value set for 8,95€. You get Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear Concealer (1.9 ml) and Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex II (5 ml) eye cream. And I'm not exaggerating if I say that I'll have this tiny jar of eye cream for aproximately four months. Concealer will probably run out in one or maybe two months.

Melvita Nectar de Miels: New Ultra Nourishing Comforting Face Cream

I haven't written a review yet, but I've been using Melvita Jojoba Oil on a weekly basis since November and have been loving it. It absorbs very quickly (for an oil) and doesn't leave a heavy film on skin.
Today I want to talk about a freshly launched product from Melvita called Ultra nourishing comforting balm, a new face cream from their Nectar de Miels line. As the name suggests Melvita's new face cream from their Nectar de Miels line is formulated to target dry or very dry skin.

Vichy Idéalia Night Peeling Care - Glycolic Acid for Sensitive skin

Recently Vichy renewed their Idéalia line and also launched a novelty - Idéalia Peeling Care with 4% Glycolic Acid and 5% Hepes. Vichy describe the Idéalia Peeling as a unique water-light formula with the power of a serum to refine pores, improve the skin texture and smooth fine lines in just four weeks.

Douglas Box of Beauty December 2016

Better late than never right? I thought about not writing a review of the latest Box of Beauty from Douglas, but the content is just too good to not give it its 15 minutes of fame. The box costs only 12€ and you get one fullsize product and three or four luxury samples.

Winter Skincare favourites

Although there's no snow yet it's been getting pretty cold lately. I've found a few products that I really like to use during this time of the year. They keep my skin hydrated and nourished.
